Freshen things up at Baja Fresh Mexican Grill

June 25, 2015

Finding Mexican food is easy, but sometimes it can be difficult to find Latin cuisine that is truly allfresh and traditional, especially in a setting where the food is prepared individually right in front of you. However, Baja Fresh Mexican Grill at 3231 Duke St. solves that problem with their selection of succulent and enjoyable food options that all burst with flavor.

In spite of treating each order individually, Baja Fresh never uses a microwave or frozen prepared portions. Instead, their ingredients are all handmade before then being prepared in plain view in a bright, welcoming environment.

There is such a wide variety on the menu, it can be difficult to decide what to order when it is your turn at the counter. The fajitas, quesadillas and nachos are all very much in demand, while it is impossible to go wrong with the burritos and tacos. Meanwhile, the steak, shrimp, chicken and fish are all not to be missed. Currently, there is a seafood taco special on offer called “Catch 2 or 3.” With the special, customers can mix and match two or three seafood dishes in the tacos and get rice and beans free on the side.

For those who are conscious of their calories, Baja Fresh’s “500 Calorie Menu” is a good option, while family meals are made more affordable as children eat free on Saturdays and Sundays if they are accompanying one adult eating an entrée. The children’s menu also has child-sized portions of cheese and bean burritos, chicken taquitos, the mini-cheese quesadilla, the Baja Fresh mini bean and the original Baja Taco.

If you’re in the mood for Mexican, stop by Baja Fresh. Its food is delectable and fresh, and once you try it once you may well become a regular visitor.
